The sandbox environment of Taobao is a test environment provided by the open platform to Independent Software Vendors (ISV). The data are fully independent and most of APIs have been allocated in this environment for ISV to test API functions. The number of APP calls is unlimited, but the timeout rate in obtaining mass data will be higher than that in online environment. 1.Open the home page of the open platform (//open.alibaba.com), and click “console” to enter the application management page
2.Choose “sandbox configuration page” to configure the sandbox information
The formal environment is an online operating environment provided by the open platform (TOP) to Independent Software Vendors (ISV). The data under the formal environment are all true online data. ISV can test functions of TOP interface under the formal test environment with limited times and authority of interface calling. Specifically, the frequency of an application to be called is 5000 times per day, and the interface available for calling will change according to different application labels, with the interfaces identified as open in all API documents being always available for calling.
This environment shares data with the online system and the true data of an online shop are directly influenced by the interface for writing class. So please operate with caution.

Related description
Several parameters are mandatory for calling API, which are required to be obtained in advance. They are calling entry address, AppKey, AppSecret, Access Token (or SessionKey). AppKey and Appsecret can be obtained once an application is created; Access Token is obtained by login account authorization mode (for details see user authorization introduction). API can be called only after all the data are obtained to get corresponding item and order data.
