Every application has its own certificate authority which decides the number of APIs that can be called by the application. The management on the application authority by the open platform is realized via the API authority package. The API authority group is divided into API open package and API value-added package (“open package” and “value-added package” for short hereinafter). If an API pertains to a value-added package, a value-added mark is displayed on the API document list page. Otherwise, an open mark is displayed.
The difference between these two authority packages is that when applications are registered, they will be endowed with different open packages by the platform automatically according to different business categories.
The value-added package refers to the API authority that needs to be applied for additionally after the application is created. Generally, it is applicable to the specific scenario. For the sake of data security and API applicable resources, the application for each value-added package needs to meet some basic requirements which can be viewed on the value-added package page.
